SOWN Roving Bushcare at Banks Street Reserve this Sunday

The next SOWN Roving Bushcare working bee will be at the Banks Street Reserve. Come along and learn more about the visionary project to restore and re-green the Three Mile Scrub.

Time: Sunday 19 May, 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm.

Place: Southern part of Banks St Reserve. Access is via Quandong Park, Quandong St, Ashgrove (look for signs from the bridge).

Activity: To plant habitat for ground dwelling and small birds. Planting grasses and shrubs in a recently cleared and treated area in the middle of a large patch of established trees.

Bring: Hat, sturdy shoes and water bottle. Tools and gloves will be provided.

The Enoggera Catchment Creek Health Monitoring Program (ECCHMP) survey is on again on Sunday 26 May and we need more volunteers! We survey various sites along Enoggera, Fish and Ithaca Creeks starting at 8.00 am.
