Membership reminder

If you haven't renewed your SOWN membership for 2011-2012, now is the time. SOWN membership is great value. You get regular e-news and a brilliant web site as well as free plants from the SOWN Nursery.

Following three major flooding events on Enoggera Creek in 2008, 2009 and 2011, BCC is desilting and removing mangroves in the lower catchment. See the council notice for details.

Remember, remember 24 September is the last Glenella Parklands Planting for 2011, 9-11am. Put it in your diary. With recent rains it should be a perfect time for planting.

Have you noticed Pauls Milk is running a collect-a-cap campaign? SOWN is registered for the campaign. So collect those caps and bring them to SOWN so we can collect the 10 cents.
