Invitation to Community Weed Forum and Eucalypt Identification Workshop

Come along and learn about Eucs in February and Weeds in March

SOWN members will be able to start 2006 on a high with some great training events and forums hosted by SOWN and Brisbane City Council.

On the Sunday the 19th February, SOWN are co-hosting a half-day Eucalypt Identification workshop at Karawatha Forest: an area that has a great diversity of Eucalypt species and includes most Eucs common to the Brisbane area. Please see the article for details and how to RSVP. Places are limited so get in fast!

On Sunday the 5th March, Brisbane City Council is hosting a Community Weeds Forum at Griffith University, Nathan. The Forum is the latest on all things weedy and will provide updates and vital information about new weeds, weed management and working with weeds that we need as community bushcarers and catchment group members.

Take a break from the heat and come and learn about Weeds and Eucalypts. See the attached articles for invitations to these two events.
