Join SOWN to clean up Dawn Street Park Ashgrove for Clean Up Australia Day.
As well as cleaning up, we will be planting locally native trees, shrubs and grasses on the banks of Ithaca Creek. The planting will be followed by morning tea.
The event will include Little Bushcarers activities for children including potting up plants, water testing, bug hunting and creek adventures.
If you prefer to clean up somewhere closer to home, there are also Clean Up Australia Day sites at Ashgrove West and Walton Brisbane Reserve The Gap.
