Community planting with Ithaca Creek State School 2005

Hi everyone,

Well this is it, our biggest planting event of every year! Our annual planting day with Ithaca Creek State School will be held on Saturday 19th October. We are hoping to go bigger and better than last year, with a mass edge planting by the Dean St footbridge.

Invite everyone and anyone, the more hands the merrier. Even if it's just for a half hour, any help is help enough!

We'll be starting the day off with a debrief at the meeting spot at the Dean St car park in Red Hill. From there we'll hop across the bridge and get planting. Then around the 11am mark we'll head back to the shady picnic bench where some local residents and myself will have some morning tea waiting to feed our hungry stomachs. You're welcome and encouraged to bring a plate to share!

Quick details as follows.

When: Saturday October 19
Where: Car park at the end of Dean St, Red Hill
Time: 8-12pm (11am morning tea)

Bring: hat (very important!), drinking water, gloves, closed in shoes, plate to share if you wish

We hope to see many of you there for what will hopefully be a fantastic day!!

Thanks, Murray Oke
