Can you help supervise?
The Walton Bridge Reserve bush care group is hosting a planting by a large social group on Sunday 30 June, signing on at 9:30 am for a 10 am-12 noon planting.
We are asking experienced bush carers to volunteer to assist in supervising the event.
The sign-on will be held at the small picnic shelter next to the cubby house playground on the city side of Enoggera Creek. It's right next to 929 Waterworks Road. The carpark holds about 20 cars and street parking is also available along Waterworks Road and Jevons Street.
The planting will be on the bank of Enoggera Creek, below Walton Bridge on the Jevons Street side. See map below.
We are expecting between 20 and 50 volunteer planters. We need help with setting up, supervising sign-on, putting out plants, setting up watering, supervising planters and packing up.
We expect to plant at least 500 plants.
For more information, contact Anne Jones 0438 047 910 or just turn up on 30 June to lend a hand.
