National Tree Day Aug 2009

Over 50 volunteers enjoyed some glorious winter sunshine and helped replant a section of Enoggera Creek next to the Illowra Street bridge at The Gap.

The repair work begins.
The vegetation on this part of Enoggera Creek was severely damaged during the November 2008 storms and much of it was removed during the clean up.

Getting the right mix
Over 40 different species of local native plants were used on the site to help retain the biodiversity of the creek.
