'Learning from Success' forum - 14th June

When it comes to Landcare and Environment Groups, South East Queensland has arguably some of the most successful in Australia. If you ever wanted to ‘look over the fence’ at your neighbouring groups and see just how they do what they do, then here is your chance.

“Learning from Success” is a FREE forum for SEQ community environment and natural resource management groups to be held on 14th June at the RiverGlen Conference Centre at Indooroopilly, Brisbane.

This forum is about learning innovative and diverse tools, projects and strategies to enhance the capacity of your group:

· Inventive recruiting and retaining of volunteers
· Creative community engagement
· Resourceful ways to secure funding and support
· Successful project management of on-ground works
· Innovative marketing and promotion

RSVP by: 9th June 08 to Brisbane City Council Contact Centre on ph: 07 3403 8060

Participants are also invited to exhibit static displays showcasing their Landcare Groups achievements and strengths. Email peter.hayes@brisbane.qld.gov.au or ph: 07 3407 0136 to book a space.
